Feminist Media Studies -Foreign Women and Toilets

I examine the formation and apprehension of feminine that is“foreign in relation to cleansing for other people, in terms of dust. The visual analysis covers methods by which eliminating other folks’s dust by the immigrant, migrant, or perhaps a visitor worker intertwines with gendered and racialized procedures of social abjection. Privileging images of toilets and expressions of rage, my analysis inquires in to a conceptual communication between trash therefore the social renditions of international other people; into ways the thought of “dirt” gets transposed on the cleansers suggesting that people who clean dust are by themselves disposable figures, just helpful and bearable so long as they cohere the messy life of “legitimate” and properly “clean” natives.
